Within just one year of entering China, Gurugram-headquartered budget hotel room brand OYO Rooms had built a base of more than 50,000 rooms. This is nearly half of the company’s entire inventory in India, where it has been operating since 2013. In the month of July alone, the company added more than 25,000 rooms in China. OYO is eager to obtain a greater pretense in China, and has further aggressive expansion plans there over the coming years.
