Vice Premier Hu Chunhua recently chaired a meeting to discuss how to ensure stable employment amidst the coronavirus outbreak. He echoed other top leaders and told businesses that they should get back to work “in a well-organized and safe manner while carrying out epidemic prevention and control work.” The government seems to be taking various measures to support employment – they are giving additional support to small businesses and are allocating more resources to taking care of those who have lost their jobs.
